"when i saw the lady on the operating table, i was speechless.
i thought scenes like these only happen in drama series..
but i thought wrong. she was lying there, helplessly, with a team of anaesthetists and anaesthetic nurses who were busy giving her pints of blood and platelets, one after another.. she had cvp line set on both her arms, and had a femoral artery line.
my tear ducts were almost failing me again today. i couldnt help but kept praying to God that she'll be fine, that she'll turn for the better,
that she'll be okay, that'll she be able to grow old with her newborn child.
i was really nervous. however i know i couldnt let it take over me.. i need to stay calm and steady, to assist the doctor, and to trust that they'll stop the bleeding.
everything happened in a flash, old staples were remove, drains, old stitches were cut, then we were in the peritoneum already. it was flooded, with tonns of blood clots and blood kept gushing out.
i've never use as many penny towels as i did today.
i'm glad that my prayers were heard, that the bleeding susided and that her heart rate returned to normal.
what a sign of relief it was to everyone.
after the operation, she was sent back to icu for further management.


all i can do now, is continue to pray for her............"

thank goodness last night wasnt that bad.
so we 'mediated' as sn emm put it. haha.
but it was too cold, and the table was too hard to make me feel comfortable, woke up around 0430 and accompany meijun...
was so looking forward to home, unfortunately we had to attend roll call due to the coming JCI audit.
it's driving everyone bonkers and stressful.
sigh.
i'm crossing my fingers that i wont be on duty that week.

sn emm and lily are such nice and fun people to be with; one cant stop snapping my bra strap, the other cant stop checking out my butt! haha..
they made my day. =)

and i've finished my task within 2 hours! YAY!

i need more sleep.
