everday is so unpredictable, cause i never know which theatre i'll be in.
today was suppose to be one of my light days. cause i was assigned to the emergency theatre.
had to relieve other theatres though.. i dont mind that, just that the first case had 3 PROCEDURES!
gosh.
it's a total laparoscopic hysterectomy bilateral salpingo-oopherectomy cum pelvic floor repair and dilation and curettage.
i mean come on! the surgeon might as well do a vaginal hysterectomy instead. it's more practical and easier than doing through a scope. moreover, i had doubts about this particular surgeon.
after i left to do an infectious caesarean case. i heard that he did a VH instead...
the poor patient was stuck in the theatre for about 3 hours.
she'll probably have more pain post-operatively. and she had three extra port holes for nothing.

the staffing is really bad... i hardly have tea breaks now, and the supposedly 1 hour break, is cutting as they day pass..
i dislike taking long breaks cause i'll feel uneasy just slacking around after lunch, chatting away.. while my partner is scrubbed up inside.

oh, nurses are just so ill-treated.
if not the satisfaction i get from appreciative patients and the fact i'm bonded, the supportive msgs that i kept from love ones.
i think i wouldnt be able to hang on for so long.
every night i thank Him for the day, cause i manage to get through it.

have a date with the babes tmr.. starlight cinema..

sustained bruises oh the knees, elbow... and the butt, back and everywhere else is aching.
we're not normal. we're more like animals! haha.
